Apache Directory Studio For Mac



  1. Before starting the installation of Apache (HTTPD) server using this tutorial you must have the following prerequisites. Terminal: You must have Mac Terminal access and little knowledge about working with the terminal application. Ao login to your Mac system and open terminal; Homebrew: Homebrew is a popular package manager for the Mac.
  2. Apache Directory Studio (formerly known as LDAP Studio) is a complete directory tooling platform intended to be used with any LDAP server however it is particularly designed for use with the Apache Directory Server. The following plugins are available.
  3. If Apache Directory Studio 2.0 is still running on the Mac, right-click on Apache Directory Studio 2.0 on the Dock, and click Exit/Quit Click on Go - Utilities - Activity Monitor Check the list of processes which are running at the background, and make sure there is no the Apache Directory Studio.
  4. Untar the Mac OS X archive of Apache Directory Studio. Mount the Apache Directory Studio Disk Image. Using a terminal, copy the 'Release Notes.txt' and 'NOTICE.TXT' files in the DMG whith the following commands.
